Importing your first PDF
Pick the source and target languages, pick which version you want out, and drop the file in — three steps through an 82-page annual report.

Why a scan needs OCR first
Without a text layer there is nothing to align paragraph by paragraph. OCR runs only on the pages that lack one, and leaves the rest alone.

Select text, then do one of three things: ask, mark, copy
One menu floats up from any selection. Ask hands the passage to the right-hand column to keep questioning; Mark highlights it at once and can carry a note, a term or a translation doubt; Copy gives you the translation by default.

Why a mark never loses its place
Highlights, notes, terms and translation doubts all anchor to the source paragraph's id, so they survive a re-translation or a different output version. Every mark also lands in the Notes tab.

Glossaries: making the second document more accurate
A term is keyed by the source phrase and valued by the rendering you chose. Where it was hit is recorded against the term, and once confirmed it applies to documents like it without being asked.
Comics3 minutes
Comic translation and bubbles that cross panels
The edge cases of bubble detection, and why a bubble spanning two panels is confirmed by a person once. Typeface, weight and writing direction follow the original — there is nothing to choose.

How character colour stays consistent
Cluster people first, colour second: faces are clustered, matched against the series cast, locked colours become a condition on every page, a change of outfit locks only hair and eyes, and your edits are written back to the series.
Comics2 minutes
Translating without colourising
Turn AI colour off and the cast sheet is skipped entirely: the volume goes through as a translation and nothing is redrawn.
TV captions2 minutes
Two screens and the TV is set up
Pair by QR code, then grant two permissions — microphone and overlay. After that, pressing start is what puts captions on screen.
TV captions3 minutes
Using it without opening the microphone
The zero-microphone path: type the title and where you are into the phone or the web console, and nothing ever asks for recording permission.
Extension2 minutes
The first thing to do once the extension is installed
Sign in and bind the account: from then on everything the extension translates lands in your library, «Open at the reading desk» picks it up where it was, and the glossary is the same one the desk uses.
