Blab Translation vs manga translators
Manga-only extensions are the better pick if comics are all you read: Torii has a real editor and your own key, and IsManga has cheap unlimited plans. Blab Translation is the pick if you want one extension that redraws manga pages and also translates web pages, image text, YouTube subtitles and PDFs.

How each one works
IsManga overlays the translation directly over the original text and gives 40 free translations a week. Ichigo works on any manga site through its Unlocker or Panel Tool, accepts PDF and ZIP uploads, and is a subscription with a free trial. Torii typesets into the bubbles, lets you edit, inpaint and export PSD, and sells credits — about one per page — from $5.99 for 2,500.
Blab Translation redraws the page with the translation in the bubbles, translates sound effects if you ask, can colorize black-and-white pages, and takes CBZ uploads.
Where Blab Translation falls short
- No editor and no PSD export.
- Your own API key cannot be used for manga.
- These extensions have tens of thousands of users; Blab Translation has far fewer.
Questions
Can I colorize pages too?
Yes. On the website, turn on colorizing for a batch and its black-and-white pages are colorized as they are translated.
